It is my privilege to welcome you all to the most awaited 52nd annual conference of the Indian Academy of Cytologists, “CYTOCON-2022”, organized by Department of Pathology, North Bengal Medical College and West Bengal Cytology Society.

On behalf of organizing committee, I am glad to invite all the eminent pathologists, the academicians, young scholars, residents and students from all over the world to attend “CYTOCON-2022”, which is going to be held at North Bengal Medical College from 4th to 7th November, 2022.

The theme of this conference is to rejuvenate the knowledge of cytopathology in the form of Preconference CME on “Cytopathology of Pancreato-biliary lesion”, and different orations, lectures, slide seminar and symposium in the main conference by distinguished Cytopathologists. It would lay a platform for the interaction between experts around the world and aims in accelerating academic discoveries.

The conference enhances keynote, plenary talks, paper presentations, poster presentations and post conference workshop which will be moderated and guided by renowned Cytopathologists from all over India.

North Bengal medical college is environed by natural beauties. Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Sikkim are the notable hill stations, scenic beauties of tea gardens while traveling the NJP-Darjeeling toy train will be a refreshing change.
